Vermont Food Venture Center Ribbon Cutting & Open House Celebration
Hosted by the Center for an Agricultural Economy and Northern Enterprises, please join us for an open house, guided tours, invited guest speakers and a ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for 1:00 PM with Senator Patrick Leahy.
When: Friday, January 6 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm
Where: Vermont Food Venture Center, 140 Junction Road, Hardwick, VT (located behind Aubuchon Hardware and next to Vermont Soy)

Biomass To Biofuels course - University of Vermont, 2012 Spring Semester
March 23, 2012 to April 28, 2012
Location: UVM campus & throughout Vermont for field trips & hands on experience
Experts in following areas will provide hands-on instruction in various biofuels including:
- LIQUID BIOFUELS (oil seed-based biodiesel; bioethanol; algae-biofuel);
- SOLID BIOFUELS (wood & grass energy),
- BIOGAS (the farm-based energy).
- AND this course covers a wide-range of Biofuels related science & technology topics, background & literature, as well as important environmental, economic, social and other Biofuels related issues.
