system capable of processing grass fibers into fuel. The deadline

research and development of microalgae as a biofuel feedstock. The deadline
for this RFP was 05/17/2010.
Feed & Fuel: Oilseed Crops and Commercial Biodiesel Production: Released on 02/04/2010. This
RFP is now closed.
The VSJF solicited proposals to 1) increase the acreage of oilseed crops (such
as soybean, sunflower, canola) to be processed in-state for sustainable
biodiesel for Vermont’s farms and communities, or 2) develop a
commercial biodiesel facility that serves the needs of multiple farms,
and/or
the surrounding community. The deadline
for this RFP was 03/29/2010.
Expansion of Commercial Biofuels: Released on 05/27/2009. This RFP is now closed.
The VSJF solicited proposals to increase the availability of pure biodiesel (B100) and/or biodiesel blends (B5 and higher) in Vermont. Eligible projects will lead to the expansion of biodiesel as a heating fuel, transportation fuel, or both. The deadline for this RFP was 06/29/2009.

and others with the educational foundation and technical skills
necessary to develop Vermont’s biomass-to-biofuels market. The deadline
for this RFP was 03/13/2009.
On-Farm Biodiesel Facility: Released on 01/14/2009. This RFP is now closed.
The
VSJF solicited proposals to develop an on-farm biodiesel facility which
serves the needs of the host farm, other farms, and/or the surrounding
community through the production of biodiesel and livestock meal (could
also include culinary oils) from oilseed crops such as canola,
sunflower, soy and camelina. The deadline for this RFP was 02/27/2009.
